Went to UW with a PUG. we get to labrynth where you take restore, and someone takes "unwanted guests". Then pings a vengful and rushes in. Of course, the rest of the team follows

XD Aha, that makes more sense. Similar to the E/Mo using Aegis in a GvG where the whole other team is necros.

I think mending stopped being funny 2yrs ago.
I think the most retarded PvE build ive seen in a while is a FoW team using an Obsidian Flesh warrior tank, BiP Necro, 2 healers, 1 Bonder and a nuker.
It was for normal mode also, they resigned when they couldnt kill a monk but ive heard these builds are the norm for pugs, i dont see why people would go to such lengths to keep a team alive in an area that can be completely cleared with a couple of nuker heros and dunkoro without any special tanking or bonding, just c+nuke.

I don't have the screen here at work, but recently I met a 1337 mesmer that had 3 domination spells, a bunch of signets, one stance, and signet of illusion as elite.

WoH is sad yes, however Ele healer isn't that bad. Aegis and Heal Party are good on an ele. Mind Blast + Support skills is win ..
and of course master of magic smiter is a nice build for an ele.

Wayyyyy back when I was still not uax'd, I had some fun with a E/R using conjure lightning and dual shot... capping skills in Peridition Rock. I thought it was a good bar at the time.
But to add on to the list of baddies... W/R with power shot, definitely. I forgot what else he had. Oh, I also saw a Me/R with an arsenal of traps. I started to wonder if he knew fast cast didn't affect traps but figured that it probably wasn't the *only* problem. XD

Forgot to add one more the warrior who had the sf monk and such also was using a bow, with bow attacks and calling himself a tank.......some people are taking that term a little more twords artillery now.
While yes ele healers are ok they only have ever worked because of suprise. No one expects one in RA

An idiot in my guild kept using WOH and 3 sword attack as a Mo/W in AB and called me a noob because I said his builds are crap. He told me if it pwns in AB, it pwns in PvP. He didn't realize everyone else in the guild was laughing.

Was doing Vizuhn Square mission with some pug who invited me (lvl 15 monk). We get in and the warrior has a pet I brushed it off. Pet dies, he asked me to rez it :/
FoW run same monk, notice a ele taking a lot of health loss vs other eles. I asked him to ping his health 286 with no dp.
FoW run different monk. I did not ask other monk to ping for some reason that day. Consisted of signet of midnight, epidemic, and healing breeze.

Probably no max armor either. A lot of pugs seem to do that these days: "I R SAVING $$$" fail.
I bet most of them don't even have max dmg and stat weap, don't know what insignias are, and has wtf are rune-ness.

was doing ice sorrow. miss. and was saying i was experimenting with a build. another warrior said he was too, so we pinged builds to compare. his was your typical, frenzy healsignet with mending and orison + heal area...and guess what...power attack. he was wielding a sword with all his stats in strength and healing...with the rest in tactics...
